Get To Know Us
When our Journey Began
It was in the middle of February 2019, and wrestling season was coming to an end. Our son Cole started complaining of back and leg pain. He was 14 years old, and an aggressive athlete. In the beginning, we thought he was just pushing himself extremely hard. More and more he was soaking in the tub to ease the pain. On February 22, 2019, we had our first visit to the emergency room. He was diagnosed with dehydration and sent home. We had several trips to doctor appointments and to the emergency room the next couple of weeks with different diagnoses that just didn't add up. On March 10, 2019, we took another trip to the ER. He was transferred to AI Dupont Children's Hospital. After tons of tests were done Cole was diagnosed with Pre B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Being the youngest of four children, our family knows firsthand the impact the diagnosis of cancer has on the whole family. We are all ColeStrong.

COLESTRONG FOUNDATION INC, located in the heart of Sussex County, Delaware. Our foundation is dedicated to helping spread awareness, and raising funds for Childhood Cancer Research. With the dedication of our volunteers, members, and the community, we strive to advocate for the lives of teens diagnosed with cancer, and the siblings of children that have been diagnosed. How We Help
Our Young Heroes Deserve a Cure
COLESTRONG FOUNDATION INC works tirelessly to provide events in our communities to advocate for our children in the fight against childhood cancer. Too many children are facing this battle. Each day, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer in the United States, which means 15,590 children in the U.S. are diagnosed each year. It is our mission to educate, mentor, and embrace others through their journeys. We all have a hand in spreading awareness, and we would love for you to become part of being a helping hand today.

One of the main reasons COLESTRONG FOUNDATION INC was founded is because of our family's personal journey. Our hearts know first hand what it feels like to have a vibrant, athletic, and intelligent teenager battle cancer, and to see the toll it takes on the siblings. Our Warriors
One of our goals is to put together care packages aimed at the needs of teens that have been diagnosed with cancer. We also aim to assist teens with peer mentorship. When a child is diagnosed, the whole family is impacted
One of our main goals in the COLESTRONG FOUNDATION INC is to recognize the siblings. When a child is diagnosed with cancer the siblings go through all of the heartbreak, anxiety, and fears as well. We want to assist in helping the siblings understand, and to remember they are loved just as much as their brother/sister battling.
